very brief update on a Friday night

hey,

I have better things to do right now other than update my blog, unfortunately. like readings, oh baby. (not.)

so! here's the animal cruelty section of today's post.

click here to tell Burberry that fur is NOT in fashion for this fall, and that they should discontinue using fur, as it is not only out of fashion, but it is indeed very cruel.

and as these drag queens can tell you, fur is indeed a 'drag.'

finally, watch Beyonce get served, fuckaz! DON'T WEAR FUR.

and now, for my Friday Five. and my work schedule, because I want you to come and visit me at work.

tomorrow, 4-7PM
wednesday, 4-9PM
next saturday (30th) 4-7PM

le vendredi cinq

1. Given a choice, and imagining that money and time were no object, would you rather cook dinner, eat out or order in?

Eating out is definitely the best - to the classiest restaurant possible. Because hey... Money isn't an object, now is it?

2. What is the most elaborate meal you've ever prepared yourself or purchased at a restaurant?

I've probably eaten some of my most elaborate meals at my friend J.F.'s house, where I first experienced sushi. I have also had homemade pad thai there, as well as swordfish, and lamb pizza. Some meals I had in France were also pretty... Different.

3. What food do you find yourself making and/or eating way too much?

CEREAL. I eat SO MUCH CEREAL it is retarded. Like, absolutely retarded. At least twice a day, if not more. So damn good! (And good for you... Depending on what cereals you buy. I buy the good kind.)

4. What was your most disastrous cooking/eating out experience?

Ah, well? I don't really know about that... I've never had anything terribly disastrous happen before as pertaining to food, (knock on wood.) Of course there's always the foods you eat RIGHT before getting the flu, which make you sick for quite a while afterwards. Or that one time when I was 5 years old or so, and my babysitter Margie was minding me, and my mom had broken her kneecap that day. Usually my parents picked me up well before dinner, but this time Dad was at the hospital with her, so I had to stay extra-late. And she was making this gross-ass turkey... But just in time, Dad came and picked me up, and we had pizza. Interesting, no?

5. Would you rather cook for someone else or have them cook for you?

It really depends who it is, and what they want to do.

fin du vendredi cinq

Sweet! I'm off to clean the piles of dishes accumulating in the floor 13 senior suite kitchen sink, and then find out what the hell I am doing tonight.

oh...and yes, I'm doing well, thanks for asking!

joel

P.S. damn, I am so full right now. I had such a huge dinner.

Last night I noticed on the left sleave of Dave's shirt, it said "Abercrombie"
I was like " :O where did you get that shirt?"
He said " I dont know, my aunt gave it to me!"
I was like "Joel works there!"
He asked "Really? So how do you pronounce the name?"
And I said "Uhh.. Ive been trying to figure that out myself. Joel told me via MSN.."

:)
Thought of you!
